    Julia Jane Oliver died in service 19 April 1944 at the Naval Hospital, Oakland, California after several months of illness. She was born 11 January 1922 in Des Moines, graduated from North High School in 1940, and was in the auditing department at Younkers. She entered service 7 October 1942, trained at the University of Indiana, and served at the naval air base in Alemeda, CA. She was survived by her parents Nancy Ann Evelyn Oliver and Chief Commissary Steward Rex Oliver and two sisters. Julia Jane Oliver is buried at Glenwood Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines.
